This Saturday evening, April 20, 2013 at 9:00 pm, Pacific Time, Big Mountain migrated our Kerio Connect 3 server over to a new Linux server. This new server will provide our clients with faster access, increased data reliability and more available storage. Over the years, our existing Kerio Connect 3 server has served us well, but we have outgrown it’s capacity and the new server upgrade will be a welcome addition to our network.

Unfortunately, this was a major upgrade and there was approximately 45 minutes disruption in service while we completed the migration to the new server. We are happy to report that the new server is up and running successfully.

While this server upgrade took place, our MailFoundry firewalls continued to collect inbound mail. When the new server came back online, those stored messages were delivered. There should be no configuration changes necessary on the client side. Our Kerio Connect 1 and 2 servers were unaffected by this upgrade.

Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding this upgrade. Thank you.
